libghc-osm-dev software package provides parse OpenStreetMap files, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libghc-osm-dev
libghc-osm-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libghc-osm-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libghc-osm-dev *
You will get with libghc-osm-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
